Welcome

Dear friends,

Welcome to “Greater Boston Chinese Alliance Church.” We are part of the American Christian & Missionary Alliance family and one of the 2,000 Christian & Missionary Alliance churches in the United States. We welcome you to get to know us and let us have the opportunity to get to know you. Our church has the following characteristics:

  1. We are a Cantonese-speaking and Hong Kong-based church. We hope to meet more Cantonese-speaking and Hong Kong-speaking families and friends;
  2. Our Sunday worship is preached in Cantonese, with Mandarin and English interpretations;
  3. We adopt a modern model of worship and praise for Sunday worship, and all worship songs will use Cantonese, Mandarin, and English songs;
  4. In addition to the Cantonese-speaking congregation, we also have Mandarin-speaking congregations from China and Taiwan, as well as English-speaking brothers and sisters in the United States;
  5. We have a Mandarin-speaking university student fellowship (The Wheat Fellowship) specially designed for international students, including undergraduates and postgraduates;
  6. We welcome all Cantonese, Mandarin and English-speaking brothers, sisters, and friends from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and the United States to worship the Lord with us;
  7. We are a church that is open to the Holy Spirit. We adhere to the faith of the “Fourfold Gospel” of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, emphasizing that the Bible is the word of God, the truth, and God’s revelation to people. At the same time, we have experienced the powerful deeds of the Holy Spirit, and we believe that the miracles recorded in the Bible are still in operation today and are more and more popular. Because of Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever;
  8. We adhere to the truth of the Bible and also focus on the work of the Holy Spirit so that people can turn away from sin, repent, turn to Christ Jesus, and live a Holy life. The focus of our faith is: “One hand the Bible, one hand the Holy Spirit”;
  9. We believe that the “Apostles’ Creed” is the foundation of our belief and the summary of our faith. The congregation will experience the presence of God in the church, be anointed and changed by the Holy Spirit, get closer to God, and have a more abundant life.
  10. We have received the vision of “being a lampstand in the community.” We are willing to commit ourselves to making people disciples of Jesus Christ, influencing the community so that more people can know the Gospel, experience the power of the Holy Spirit, truly believe in Jesus, and become disciples of Jesus Christ.

I sincerely invite you to come to our meeting, and you are welcome to contact me to experience more wonderful deeds of the Lord Jesus with you.

Bless you!

Senior Pastor

Rev. Dr. David Yip
